Day 1 - Depart the UK and arrive in Kathmandu. Someone will meet you and take you to your accommodation. Stay overnight in Hotel Fuji located in the heart of Thamel. In the afternoon there will be a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 2 - Day 2 will consist of driving around two hours to meet the guides ready to raft in Trishuli river with a one hour lunch on a beach. Overnight camp is in either Kuringhat or Kurint.
Day 3 - The next day the rafting will continue, the river flows between the gorges and the canyons with more vegetation stiff rocks on both sides of the river. You will then travel to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara at Hotel Mera Home located very close to Phewa Lake.
Day 4 - On Day 4 we will drive to Nayapul which will take around an hour. Begin our trek to Tirkhedhunga (2080m) which will be about a five hour uphill walk.
Day 5 - The trek will continue, this time to Ghorepani (2840m) which again will be around a five hour walk but this time it will be steep uphill.
Day 6 - The trek to Ghandrung (1940m) is a seven hour easy descent.
Day 7 - On Day 7 you will go through the steep trail through farms to the flat valley. You will follow Modi Khola downstrim. The trail is a gradual descent to to reach the road head at Nayapul. After this you will stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 8 - You will travel back to Kathmandu and then have free time to visit Thamel and other interesting places which Kathmandu has to offer.
Day 9 - Travel to Bhaktapur and visit the school where the community work will take place.
Days 10-15 - This is when your community work will take place. The details will be arranged nearer the time but helping paint buildings, playing activities with the children, teaching maths and English and manual work are all examples of what has happened on previous trips.
Day 16 - Depart back to the UK.
