Parents

If you’re a parent, and you want your child to expand their horizons, experience new cultures and have the trip of a lifetime, then you’re in exactly the right place.

You’re most likely here because you’re a parent and your child is interested in one of our School Expeditions.

But as a responsible parent, you’re probably after a bit more information.

We don’t blame you.

An overseas trip can be stressful and worrying at any age, and doing the due diligence beforehand is a sensible way to reduce that stress and worry whilst maximising the chances of the trip being a success.

We care about your child

The first thing to say is that when we take your child on one of our School Expeditions, we are making a big commitment towards them.

We’re well aware that children mature and develop at different rates, and that’s why we assume a significant responsibility for every child under our care, regardless of age or capability.

We’ve been doing this a long time – we know what we’re doing.

We’ve been taking school children on expeditions since 2005, so it’s fair to say that we know what we’re doing.

Hundreds of children have benefitted from our world class trips, and we’re confident that your child’s life will be enhanced as a result of attending one.

Who runs the expeditions?

Our school expeditions are fully supported and managed by our staff in the UK and the destination country, along with qualified and experienced expedition leaders and teachers who are with the students throughout their expedition.

We also manage the flights, transfers en route and in-country, visas, insurance, adventure elements and much more – meaning you have the reassurance of knowing that every aspect of their expedition has been pre-planned.

Why should your child attend a School Expedition?

This expedition will provide your son or daughter with extraordinary opportunities.  That’s not a sentence we write lightly – we’ve seen it happen so many times that we’re utterly convinced of its truth.

Life on expedition will place them in situations that cannot be replicated in the classroom, and the experience will set them apart from the rest of their peers in the eyes of future employers, colleges and universities.

Whilst travelling to an exciting part of the world, they will contribute to extremely rewarding projects.

Our community, wildlife and environmental projects are fun, memorable and exciting and working on these sorts of projects gives them unique opportunities to integrate with new cultures, speak new languages, make new and lasting friendships and improve their leadership and team-working skills.

The unrivalled support we offer starts here in the UK with a dedicated team who are on hand to keep your child enthused and inspired in the months before the trip and to answer any concerns or queries you might have.

Throughout the expedition, every member of our team is dedicated to giving your son/daughter the best experience, whilst prioritising their safety throughout.

You can contact us via email or good old-fashioned telephone on 01769 309000.

Regardless of the issue, concern or question, we encourage you to keep in touch with us – the chances are we’ll be able to help.

When it comes to fundraising, please don’t be afraid to talk to us if there are any issues – our goal is to ensure all children that want to attend our trips can do so, and we’ll do all we can to achieve that, including personal payment plans if necessary.
